What’s most important to me now?

Life is essentially a series of moments. We are most successful and happy when we focus moment to moment on what is most important to us at that point in time based on our fundamental choices, values, and goals. As leaders, family members, and friends we can be intentional about our purposes as we plan our day, think about upcoming events, or consider what to do next.

Ken Blanchard describes it this way:

“So what I’m trying to do, first thing in the morning, is to look at the day and see how I can plan what I’m supposed to be doing and how I can get my mind set on the most important thing I ought to do.”

Take a moment now to . . .

• ask yourself what is most important in this day, in this next hour, in this upcoming meeting or conversation, or in this next moment.

This is one of those post that fulfilled an immediate need. I feel pulled a hundred different ways right now in my work and personal life.

Thinking about the most important moment in this day feels good. Hmmm. That is interesting. It literally feels good.

This message is a wonderful reminder that we all want to do the most important thing today. I am sitting at my desk thinking about all I have to do. I do not think I am alone. Your wonderful daily messages keep me focused and energized! Thanks, Dennis!
